In a Nut Shell...
Emotional love story between a female teacher and a male student.

Due to mature subject matter (abuses & sex), this book is not suitable for those under 18.
A sick nausea swirled through me as I stared at the paper in my suddenly clammy hand
It's always the one you shouldn't want that you end up wanting the most.
Both Aspen and Noel were well-developed characters that it was hard not to love them. At first I was a little worry (that's why I waited this long to read the book) that the fact that Aspen was the professor would make the book too much for me to read. A cougar was so not what I want to read, especially after what happened in book 1. I think the author tried to it easier by making Aspen some sort of child prodigy that she was only 23 and had a doctorate degree. And I was thankful for that. It would have been a lot harder to grasp this whole teacher-student romance should it have been between a lot older female teacher and a young male student.
What I really loved about this book is how their relationship progress. The love, support, care and the sacrifice were palpable. It melted my heart because of how much they loved each other. It wasn't the hot, steamy, crazy sex that made this book enjoyable. My favorite parts are when they show how much they meant to one another through words, actions and thoughts.
There were other noticeable characters added into the mix as well. Pick (Patrick) was such a wonderful character. I can't wait to read book 3 in which he will be the hero. As for Ten, frankly I didn't like him much. The way he behaved and talked were so rude that it wasn't funny most of the time. Though, by the end, he became a tad more mature and I liked how he got Noel's back.
I love that Mason (from book 1) appeared in this book as well. A little side story about him did add a nice touch to the story.
In short, it was a nice romance about forbidden love. The storyline and pace were really great.
